We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our existing and new customers in Benelux

The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. You show empathy and ability to understand the customer viewpoint and customer service

What distinguishes you

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch language
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation in the Benelux
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Responsible for our business development in Benelux from the Netherlands
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Analytical skills, driven, inquisitive and innovative
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with clients and colleagues regarding plans, products, issues and timelines
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

What will help you rise above the rest

  • You are a people manager, customer manager, and business manager
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Dynamics 365 or Sales Navigator)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Your are familiar with Microsoft Development Platforms
  • Last but not least: a sense of humor
