Building Stronger Digital Solutions Together
Collaboration, trust, and a shared vision are at the heart of every successful tech partnership.

Robin Hart, a business consultant at Garansys, has been working closely with ElanWave since 2018, helping drive digital transformation through cutting-edge technologies. From Azure .NET to MAUI (formerly Xamarin) and now OutSystems, his role has evolved from analyst to consultant, shaping strategic decisions and ensuring seamless project execution.
In this interview, Robin shares his experiences working with the ElanWave team, the impact of our collaboration on Garansys' success, and his thoughts on the future of low-code development with OutSystems.
1. Please tell us a bit about your experience working with the ElanWave team.
I worked on several projects with Elanwave. ElanWave colleagues performed roles as developers (various technologies), QA, and scrum masters. My experience is very positive. Of course, we did have our discussions and didn't agree on everything, but in the end, it all worked out, and it all was beneficial to the project's goal. What I appreciate most is that we were always in it together, finding solutions, finding a way of work, etc. I always see collaboration as working with colleagues, not just extra hands to perform a job. This is what makes a valuable collaboration between Garansys and ElanWave.
2. How has our collaboration helped Garansys achieve its goals?
Garansys' proposition is to deliver software on time. ElanWave helped us to achieve this by making sure that we delivered on time, even if that occasionally led to working extra hours.
3. What has been the most significant benefit of working with us?
It is not only doing what we say ElanWave needs to do. The people from ElanWave also have the ability to think with us regarding solutions from functional and technical points of view). This is a great benefit and has proven its value.
4. Considering a broader audience that may not be familiar with it, please briefly explain what OutSystems is and its key value proposition.
OutSystems is a low-code application development platform that enables businesses to build, deploy, and manage applications rapidly and efficiently. It provides a visual interface for creating applications, reducing the need for complex coding, which makes it accessible to both technical and non-technical users.
OutSystems' key value proposition lies in its ability to accelerate the application development process, cut costs, and allow continuous improvements and updates. By using pre-built components, templates, and integrations, organizations can create enterprise-grade applications more quickly, which is particularly valuable in today's fast-paced business environment. This helps businesses stay competitive, improve customer experience, and adapt to changing market demands.
5. Additionally, how does OutSystems enhance the speed of delivery in software development?
OutSystems enhances the speed of software delivery in several ways:
Low-Code Development: OutSystems simplifies application development by using a visual, drag-and-drop interface instead of traditional hand-coding. This reduces the time spent on manual coding, making it faster for developers to build complex applications. Pre-built Components and Templates: The platform provides a rich library of reusable components, templates, and modules that can be quickly customized. This eliminates the need to reinvent the wheel for common features, speeding up the development process. Automated DevOps: OutSystems automates many aspects of the DevOps pipeline, including testing, deployment, and monitoring. This allows teams to focus on building features rather than handling infrastructure or deployment tasks manually. Integrated Collaboration: OutSystems enables seamless collaboration between business stakeholders, developers, and designers. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy for non-technical team members to participate in the development process, ensuring faster feedback and iteration. Cloud-Native and Cross-Platform: OutSystems applications are designed to be cloud-native, meaning they are optimized for deployment across different environments (public, private, or hybrid clouds) without requiring significant rework. The platform also supports cross-platform development, allowing applications to be deployed on both mobile and web without building separate versions. Continuous Delivery and Updates: The platform supports continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, allowing frequent updates and improvements to be made to applications with minimal downtime. This reduces the time between development and actual deployment. Real-Time Monitoring and Analytics: OutSystems provides real-time monitoring and analytics tools, helping development teams quickly identify and resolve issues during the development and production phases, which helps to maintain speed and avoid delays.
These features combined enable businesses to deliver applications faster while maintaining high quality, reducing costs, and improving overall productivity.
