Data Engineer
As data volumes continue to surge across industries, the demand for talented Data Engineers is greater than ever. We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure, the leading cloud computing platform.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions on Azure
- Building and maintaining data pipelines for data integration and processing
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy through testing and validation
- Optimizing data processing performance through tuning and monitoring
- Developing and maintaining data models and schemas
- Collaborating with other teams to provide data for analytics and reporting
- Ensuring data security and privacy prerequisites are followed
- Automating data workflows to streamline ingestion and transformation tasks
- Creating and maintaining documentation of data architectures, workflows, and pipelines for knowledge sharing and compliance
- Setting up monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve data pipeline issues proactively
- Analyzing system performance and recommending improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency
OUR FUTURE TEAMMATE HAS:
- • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field
- • 2+ years of experience in software development
- • Fluent spoken and written English
- • Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages
- • Experience with Azure data storage solutions such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage
- • Knowledge of data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
- • Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop
- • Understanding of data modeling and schema design principles
- • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis
- • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Strong client-facing communication and presentations skills
- • The ability to work independently and in a team
