Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to lead our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including strategic planning, budget management, team leadership business development of the IT company.

 

The GM plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company meets its financial and operational goals, fosters a culture of innovation, and maintains the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Oversee all operational aspects of the company, ensuring smooth coordination between departments (engineering, product development, sales, marketing, and HR). 

    • Lead and motivate teams to achieve company goals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. 

    • Manage senior-level executives, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives. 

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and execute long-term strategies to drive business growth, profitability, and market share. 

    • Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic goals, KPIs, and financial targets. 

    • Identify market opportunities, emerging technologies, and trends to keep the company at the forefront of the IT industry. 

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. 

    • Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. 

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, and customers, to drive revenue growth. 

  • Client & Customer Relations:
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing the delivery of top-quality products and services. 

    • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the company’s solutions meet those needs. 

    • Lead efforts in customer acquisition, retention, and overall client relationship management. 

  • Operations & Process Improvement:
    • Optimize business processes, implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency and scalability. 

    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and legal requirements. 

    • Oversee risk management and business continuity planning to safeguard company operations. 

  • Innovation & Technology:
    • Stay informed on the latest technology advancements and industry trends. 

    • Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions to improve products and services. 

    • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to create cutting-edge IT solutions. 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position. 

    • Proven track record of managing large teams, driving business growth, and delivering operational excellence. 

    • Strong understanding of IT industry trends, technologies, and business models. 

  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. 

    • Strong business acumen, with a focus on financial performance and strategic planning. 

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

    • Ability to drive change and foster innovation within the organization. 

    • In-depth knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and emerging technologies. 

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Technical screening will take the form of conversation with our CEO and CTO. This discussion will cover logical, practical, and theoretical aspects of the role.
